So having started level 1 City and Guilds Photography class last week, I am forced into creating a blog. Frustrated with it last week as it didn't make sense having never done one before. However I have uploaded 4 photographs from our first task. The task was to take 4 photographs at 4 different times of the day. For this task auto setting could be used on the camera.
Speaking of cameras... I have been fortunate to be offered the loan of a digital SLR Canon 450d. It comes with a 18-200 mm lens on which there is a UV filter which along with providing protection for the lens is for reducing ultra violet light passing through the lens, 2 gb memory card, rechargeable battery and charger and external flash and instruction manual. I am looking forward though to learning how to use the camera off "auto" mode and put basics of photography into practice.
So the first 4 photographs for the light task were rushed. I did not plan time during my week to go out and take 4 photographs so the day before my class (a working day) I took the camera to work and as I was walking into work, I walked past the house in the photos. Due to my lack of planning I had to make do with the light on offer which was not too bad. First thing was sunny and blue sky but this did not last long as my description in the photographs shows.
