My interest in photography started 20+ years ago when i bought a Pentax K100 SLR camera for £100. I started a college course and learnt how to process black and white film in the darkroom however I didn't finish the course hence me starting this one many years later. I sold my film SLR (regretably) with the intention of replacing it with a digital SLR but have so far only managed a compact digital. I love the fact that I can have my pictures on my computer within minutes of taking them.
I still haven't yet bought a digital SLR; instead I am lucky enough to have been loaned one to do my course. It is a CANON D450 and I am just getting used to it and getting to know the controls. The lens is a 18mm to 200mm. There is one battery only, together with a charger and instruction manual.
My nephews are continuous subject for my photographs together with cows, pigs and anything else I see and think ooh that will make a great picture.
